4worldlovers: The top basketball teams from schools in Dubai have gathered to compete at the Liv. Dubai Schools Games Basketball Championships at Dubai World Trade Center on the 1st, 5th, 7th and 8th of May 2023. Beyond Basketball Academy participated in the four-day event as part of the technical partners.

Our team assisted in overseeing the flow of games during the U13 and U15 age group for both boys and girls division. In a round robin format, the teams competed for championships.

Playing college basketball in USA was always a dream of mine growing up in Dubai, but i had no idea how to get there or the amount of work on and off the court that was necessary to get there. Dubai Tribe and MENA All Stars opened my eyes to not only my potential, but created a pathway for me to achieve my goal.

I was part of Dubai Tribe and MENA All-Stars since I was a freshman in high school in Abu Dhabi. People thought i was crazy for traveling to Dubai 3 or 4 times a week to train throughout my 4 years in high school. But it paid off. I wouldn't have made it to the college level without the tremendous coaching and guidance I received along the way.
